Overview

IdoLED ("the App") is an LED text scroller and banner display application. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

This policy applies to the Android app package com.huangapps.idoled.

Data Collection

IdoLED does not operate an account system or collect your name, email address, contact details, or user-created banner content on our servers. If you subscribe to IdoLED Pro, Google Play Billing processes purchase history and subscription status so the App can unlock paid features and restore purchases.

Data Stored Locally

The following data is stored only on your device:

• Text messages you type
• Display settings, colors, fonts, styles, and layer configurations
• Saved presets and project files
• Music, image, and video file paths if you choose local files
• Voice recordings you create inside the app
• App preferences such as theme, language, and onboarding state

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share or export it, such as saving a screenshot, exporting a GIF or MP4, or sharing to another app.

Analytics and Diagnostics

IdoLED v1.0 does not include a separate third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK.

Purchases

If you subscribe to IdoLED Pro, purchase history and subscription status may be processed by Google Play Billing so the App can unlock paid features and restore purchases.

Third-Party Services and Network Requests

The App makes the following network requests; none of them transmit your created content:

• Hugging Face (huggingface.co): On first use of the background-removal feature, the App may download open-source ONNX AI models from Hugging Face's public CDN. Standard HTTP request data such as IP address and user-agent may be processed by Hugging Face.
• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com): Font files may be fetched from Google's servers when you select a font.

Images, audio, video, and text you create in the App are processed on-device. Background removal, LED rendering, video export, recording, and music playback do not upload your content to external servers.

Permissions

• Internet: To download fonts, AI models, and process subscription status.
• Photos and Media: To import images or videos and save exported GIF/MP4 files to your gallery.
• Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Optional; only used when you tap Record to create your own background audio. Recordings are saved locally on your device and are not uploaded.
• Storage: To pick local audio, image, or video files and save exports.

Denying any permission only disables the corresponding feature.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local projects, imported media, recordings, and exports remain on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall IdoLED.

Purchase and subscription records are retained by Google Play Billing according to Google's policies. To request deletion of support contact data, email the privacy contact address below with the subject IdoLED Data Deletion Request, or visit Support.

Children's Privacy

IdoLED does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
